Sarah L. Proctor lived her life as a vibrant and energetic force of nature. She connected people from all parts of her life, working to improve the worlds of the students she taught. As an elementary school teacher, a mentor, a friend, a sister, a daughter, a cousin, a person, she was dedicated to helping children and making their lives a little better. Working with LOG Michiana and the Cass County Fair were ways she gave of herself to help children and teens. Help us continue her good work.

The Sarah L Proctor Educational Endowment at the 4-H Children’s Gardens
One of Sarah’s goals as a teacher included offering real-world experiential learning to her students. Learning by doing was an important component in her lesson planning. Hands-on activities and local field trips to reinforce classroom learning were integral parts of her lessons. We feel this endowment is a meaningful way to help to carry on Sarah’s legacy of positively affecting the education of children through real-world learning.
